The Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA), has congratulated Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, on the National Productivity Order of Merit Award (NPOM) conferred on the Honourable Commissioner by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The General Manager, Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA), Dr. Emmanuella Zamba, said that both Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who is the Incident Commander and Prof. Akin Abayomi, the Deputy Incident Commander, deserved the commendation, due to their selfless service, dedication and commitment to COVID-19 response in the State.

She added that the health sector in the State under the leadership of Prof. Abayomi, has no doubt witnessed tremendous improvement especially in the area of infrastructural development and access to healthcare under the Lagos State Health Scheme (ILERA EKO).

Dr. Zamba wishes the Honourable Commissioner, Prof. Akin Abayomi, more successes in his endeavours.
